CAREER GOALS:
My career goal is to become a women's soccer coach at the division I level. There is a winding path that is to be taken to get there. That being said, after graduation I aspire to obtain a graduate assistant position at a university while holding a goalkeeper coaching position. I think starting out at the college level right off the bat will get me valuable experience and connections. I am drawn to this profession through my passion for the game of soccer and my passion to teach. As an undergrad, I have obtained my Grassroots coaching license from US Soccer and am on my way to obtaining my "D" license as well. I also hold a GK Level 1 coaching license from USCA (US Coaching Association). Among spending these educational hours getting the licenses, I have also worked under Jon Busch, who played as a professional goalkeeper for 22 years, I coach the boy's goalkeepers at Guerin Catholic for the past two seasons and I am a trainer at Sogility, which uses technology to help aid players growth. I have surrounded myself with people who have knowledge and experience in the soccer world so that I can put my best foot forward when my opportunity comes.
PERSONAL COACHING AND TRAINING PHILOSOPHY
As a coach or a trainer I want to create a space that develops the player or client as person first and their fitness/soccer goals second. I will do this through showing passion, commitment, confidence and energy as I lead my client or players.
